Our Story

Pets aren't generic.
Their products shouldn't be either.

Fifteen years designing machinery and production lines taught me one thing: good design solves a real problem. I brought that discipline to pet products.

The beginning

From production lines to puzzle feeders

For over fifteen years, I designed machinery and production lines in manufacturing, solving mechanical problems where function was never optional. Somewhere along the way, I started noticing something odd every time I shopped for my own pets: the same generic puzzle feeders, the same handful of bowl shapes, everywhere I looked. Different pets, same box.

That didn't sit right with me. A pet isn't generic, so why should their products be?

I brought my engineering background into a new focus: designing pet products that are as considered and distinct as the animals they're made for. Petsun is that shift in motion, built for North American pet owners who want more than what's mass produced and repeated on every shelf.

How we design

Function first. Then something worth looking at.

Every product starts as an engineering problem: what does this pet actually need, and where do generic versions fall short? From there, design takes over. The result is meant to work hard and still look like it belongs in your home.
