Chew Toys for Labradors in BC: Picking by Size
Labradors love to chew, and in BC that often means a lot of time at home on wet days. Here is how to pick a chew toy that fits.

Chew Toys for Labradors in BC
Labs are medium to large dogs with plenty of chewing energy. Size is the first thing to check, then how your dog likes to chew.
Picking by Size
The Crocodile Dog Chew Toy is the longest at 23.6 cm, weighs 300 g and is listed for dogs of all sizes, which makes it the first one to try for a Lab. The Molar Chew Toy and the Corn Dog Chew Toy are listed for small and medium dogs, so they may suit a younger or smaller Lab.
| Toy | Size | Weight | Colours | Listed for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Molar Chew Toy | 15 x 5.4 x 5 cm | 150 g | Yellow, green, blue | Small and medium dogs |
| Corn Dog Chew Toy | 11.1 x 5.6 x 5.6 cm | 250 g | Yellow | Small and medium dogs |
| Crocodile Dog Chew Toy | 23.6 x 7.62 x 4.5 cm | 300 g | Black and blue | Dogs of all sizes |

A Chew Routine for a Lab
Fill the toy with kibble or a little peanut butter, hand it over after a walk and let your Lab settle in. See my guide to sizing a chew toy for more on sizing, and my guide to dog toys for aggressive chewers for an overview.
Labs, Size and Play Style
Many Labs love to carry things in their mouth, so a long toy can be a good fit. If your Lab also likes to tug, the Corn toy has a removable cotton rope, though it is listed for small and medium dogs, so check the size first.
Which chew toy is best for a Labrador? The Crocodile Dog Chew Toy is listed for dogs of all sizes and is the longest.
Can I fill the toy? Yes, with kibble, peanut butter or treats.
Do you ship across BC? Yes. Petsun ships from BC across Canada, and orders of $50 or more ship free.
A Lab, a wet day and a good chew toy make a happy afternoon. Browse the Dogs Chew Toys collection to find yours.

from 52 reviewsWillow loves eating out of this leaf feeder! The construction is very good quality and feels solid/ not like it’s going to break. She is a picky eater and doesn’t normally eat full meals but will eat full meals out of this! Love the grippy bottom so it doesn’t slip. Nothing to complain about :)
Golden Luca is pretty and it has my name and phone number on the flip side.
I bought it for Bao Bei to help him eat slower, also have a unique feeding bowl
He is busy with it for hours and also I can fetch the toy when we want to spend time together
It made Sabar’s meal time more than double and I enjoy watching him eating from his unique bowl
My paw was eating too fast and this bowl helped me to fix this problem
It can keep my cat's busy for a long time, but it should be under supervised I think. Long time playing with it can make them tired!
Maki playing with her ball. 😀
I'm using this stuff to keep my puppy busy and happy everyday.
It keeps my puppy busy for more than 30 mins every time for a meal. and even after that she plays with it around as long as She get tired!
Fun "beginner level" toy. Works for cats too:)
Durable plastic, feels nice.
it is a bit hard on the walls but the cat just watches it. Does not interact with it. The ball works really well for what it is supposed to do.
If it was a bit softer the cat might enjoy it more.
I gave one to a neighbour who's dog loves it. She has a small dog so the size is just right.
Great bowl and such fun. Amazing the difference in time it now takes for my puppy to finish her meals. Much healthier for her! And she loves to play with it once it’s empty
Got this toy for my girl Archie and she absolutely loves it! It’s super durable, keeps her entertained for hours, and the treat dispenser is a fun bonus. Totally worth it
As soon as this ball comes out he gets very excited. The ball allows him to play by himself with the ball. His favourite toy by far.
